The public is warned about a number of online sellers who used the Ajinomoto/AJI-NO-MOTO® trademarks to sell repacked monosodium glutamate (“MSG”). These are contained in plastic jars or bags, labelled with the AJI-NO-MOTO® trademark and claimed to be legit/authentic Ajinomoto products.
Please be informed that these individuals and/or entities are not affiliated with Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC). The AJI-NO-MOTO® trademark was used without consent of trademark owner Ajinomoto Co., Inc. (AJICO) or APC, the exclusive licensee of the mark in the Philippines.
This is a call to the public not to purchase these products which may pose health risk to consumers as their contents and packaging are not verified by the proper authorities. All authentic Ajinomoto products are manufactured based on strict standards of safety and quality and duly registered with the Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines based on Ajinomoto’s compliance to all applicable laws and regulations on food safety.

Binabalaan ang publiko na mag-ingat sa ilang mga online sellers na ginagamit ang tatak na Ajinomoto/AJI-NO-MOTO® para magbenta ng mga repacked na monosodium glutamate (“MSG”). Ito ay nakalagay sa plastic jars o bags na may tatak na AJI-NO-MOTO® at sinasabing tunay na produkto ng Ajinomoto.
Ang mga tinutukoy na indibidwal o grupo ay hindi kabilang sa Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (“APC”). Sila ay walang pahintulot na gumamit ng tatak ng AJI-NO-MOTO® mula sa Ajinomoto Co., Inc. (AJICO) na siyang nagmamay-ari ng tatak, o sa APC, na may ekslusibong lisensya na gumamit ng naturang tatak dito sa Pilipinas.
Ito ay isang panawagan sa publiko na huwag bumili ng mga nasabing produkto na pwedeng magdulot ng panganib dahil ang laman at lalagyan nito ay hindi nasuri ng wastong awtoridad. Ang lahat ng produkto ng Ajinomoto ay ginagawa ayon sa istriktong pamantayan upang masigurong ligtas at may mataas na kalidad. Ang lahat ng produkto ng Ajinomoto ay rehistrado sa Food and Drug Administration ng Pilipinas bilang pagsunod sa batas at regulasyon ukol sa food safety.
